Personal Qualifications:
This is a category that is not used very often on resumes -- and it should be on every resume. It is a category that tells about YOU as a person. It gives you an opportunity to tell something about yourself. When I had a resume-writing business, I included this section on every resume I wrote. It made a significant difference in the number of responses my clients received. Personal qualifications refers to "intangible" skills or qualities that are not necessarily reflected by education or training, but more through life-learning. Refer to the list below for some examples of Personal Qualifications. When choosing 4-5 of these to match your self-assessment list, remember that you may use these directly or you may wish to choose parts from several to combine, or just use the list for ideas in writing your own personal qualifications.
Make a list (minimum 4, maximum 6) to post on the Discussion Forum. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE WRITTEN FULL PHRASES AND NOT JUST SINGLE WORDS. USE THE LIST BELOW FOR IDEAS.
